Re-enactor Michael LePage will portray patriot Dr. Joseph Warren, author of the Suffolk Resolves, who fell at Bunker Hill. The Resolves helped to form the text of the Declaration of Rights from which Thomas Jefferson later drafted the Declaration of Independence.

The Suffolk Resolves, which were signed here on September 9, 1774 and carried by Paul Revere to the First Continental Congress in Philadelphia, were a major development in colonial animosity leading to the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. The house is now the headquarters of the Milton Historical Society which shares stories of the town’s people, places and institutions. Open for tours the second Sunday of the month in June, July and August. Event also held to commemorate signing of Suffolk Resolves in September.
