Quincycles Ride Schedule: Destination Ride: Battle Road
We will ride parts of the historic battle road where the Minutemen clashed with the British on April 19, 1775, through Concord Center to the North Bridge where “once the embattled farmers stood and fired the shot heard round the world.” We’ll continue along the Concord River, return to Concord Center for coffee, then ride back to the Visitor Center in Lincoln. Approximately 17 miles with frequent stops. Arrive at the starting point early to take in some exhibits. Please bring a spare tube and read our Ride Guidelines before you come.
Quincycles rides are open to members and non-members. Bicycling involves certain inherent risks. Your participation in a Quincycles ride constitutes your agreement to this Acknowledgement, Waiver and Release. Please review our Ride Guidelines before the ride and check our Facebook page for weather-related updates
Quincycles is a group of Quincy residents advocating for bicycle infrastructure on our city streets and promoting responsible bicycling as a means of transportation, recreation, and exercise in Quincy. The City adopted the Quincy Bicycle and Pedestrian Network Plan which includes creating more bicycle friendly streets. We have meetings on the 3rd Thursday of every month and organize free group rides throughout the year. Please check our website for additional details and follow us on Facebook for changes and updates to this schedule.
