Quincy Messiah Sing
A revival of the traditional Messiah performance that for 75 years happened in Quincy at Eastern Nazarene College. This will be an opportunity for local amateur singers to celebrate Advent by coming together to perform this glorious work, along with professional soloists and instrumentalists. Quincy resident and Wheaton College music professor Delvyn Case will be the conductor.
This event will follow the “open sing” model that is common for Messiah performances by community choirs across the country. Singers of all ages will arrive already knowing the music, and will join the conductor and soloists and orchestra in a performance that will be open to the public.
