LGBT Quincy Guest Speaker Event
Join us for an informative guest speaker event!
GLAD (GLBTQ Legal Advocates and Defenders) is a Boston-based legal non-profit working to create a just society free of discrimination based on gender identity and expression, HIV status, and sexual orientation. GLAD promotes strategic litigation, public policy advocacy, and education. GLAD has an impressive record of winning cases and fighting to pass new laws on behalf of the GLBTQ community.
GLAD's work covers so many different areas such as discrimination, employment, health care, transgender rights, marriage and parenting, aging, youth bullying, violence and hate crimes, HIV/AIDS, and other critical topics.
Come hear about all of this and more on Monday evening April 23rd at 6:30pm. The location will be the Quincy Public Library - Adams Shore Branch. The address is 519 Sea Street, Quincy.
A representative from GLAD will be joining us. There will be plenty of time for questions. We will also hear about the different programs, services, and events GLAD offers, and how GLAD may be able to help you!
This will be a wonderfully informative event and I hope you can join us. Feel free to extend the invite to others who may be interested.
See you there!
