Celebrating their 60th season, the Quincy Symphony Orchestra offers free admission to this performance of Bach's Bradenburg Concerto No. 3, Haydn's Symphony No. 104 Lomdon, and Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1. Violinist Irina Muresanu joins the Quincy Symphony Orchestra for a performance of Max Bruch's first violin concerto, one of the most popular concertos in the repertoire. Haydn's London Symphony is his final work in the form that he pioneered and a brilliant example of his mature style. Bach's third Brandenburg Concerto is a perennial audience favorite.

This free concert includes music from Chicago, Children of Eden, Guys and Dolls, The Sound of Music, and West Side Story. A silent auction will be held starting at 1:15 pm to support the Quincy Choral Society's 33rd concert season and their mission to bring musical excellence to the South Shore and the world.

Celebrating their 60th season, the Quincy Symphony Orchestra offers free admission to this performance of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony and Symphony in C. Beethoven's Fifth Symphony is a watershed in the development of Romanticism and one of the great landmarks of western music. In his Symphony in C, Stravinsky employs the forms and techniques of the great composers of the past to create a 20th century masterpiece.
