President John Adams lived to be 90, and it is thought that his penchant for exercise was a contributing factor. Adams said, "I walk every fair day, sometimes 3 or 4 miles". An effort to inspire local residents to walk in the historic footsteps of Adams and get healthy, this free three mile walking tour meets the third Saturday of the month at 8am May through October.

Meet at Riverside Trailhead, East Providence, RI

A 90 minute (one way), leisurely ride all on the bike trail that goes along the East River waterfront and through several quaint towns in Rhode Island.  We will stop for coffee in Bristol and then return to the trailhead parking lot. Please bring a spare tube and read our Ride Guidelines before you come.

We will ride parts of the historic battle road where the Minutemen clashed with the British on April 19, 1775, through Concord Center to the North Bridge where “once the embattled farmers stood and fired the shot heard round the world.”  We’ll continue along the Concord River, return to Concord Center for coffee, then ride back to the Visitor Center in Lincoln.  Approximately 17 miles with frequent stops.  Arrive at the starting point early to take in some exhibits.

Meet at North Quincy MBTA Station

Register here. Pick the 12-mile route and ride Storrow Drive car-free, or join the 45-mile route around the Emerald Necklace.  A great way to push your limits or just relax and enjoy a view of the city usually only available in a car. Please bring a spare tube and read our Ride Guidelines before you come.

Join us for a slow roll along Hancock Street to celebrate all things patriotic in Quincy and our growing cycling community. This is a great ride for kids and families!

Shorter Ride 8:45 am. Meet at parking area across the street from Murphy Memorial Hockey Rink, 1881 William J. Day Blvd. South Boston
