Join the Friends of the Blue Hills to help clear the trails! We will show you how to dig the dirt and move rocks to keep the water off the trails. You could also cut branches that block the paths. No experience necessary. Events run about four hours, followed by a hearty lunch. Wear sturdy boots, long pants and work gloves. We suggest you bring at least one quart of water. Join the Friends of the Blue Hills to enjoy the outdoors with your children during our bi-weekly Peek a Blue Hikes series. These hikes will occur every other Tuesday at 11:00 am, weather permitting. Bring your tots to Houghton’s Pond for a leisurely stroll to explore the outdoors. Participants will enjoy healthy snacks, juice and water and everyone is invited to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy after the hike concludes. Hike dates for 2016:  June 7 and 21, July 19, August 2,16, and 30, September 13, October 11 and 25, November 8, and December 6. *Note-No hike on July 5 or November 22
