Starting with the City’s Signature Flag Day Celebration on Saturday, June 16, Discover Quincy is partnerting with many local organizations to showcase Quincy’s arts and culture, community, educations, historic and recreational assets. Join Cannons Attackman Mark Cockerton Head Coach Sean Quirk, Offensive Coordinator Ben Rubeor & others at Veterans Memorial Stadium for our first session of our Cannons Summer Camp! The day will consist of positional skills & drills, team concepts and scrimmages with a chance for autographs and more!

The History and Visitors Program at the Church of the Presidents offers guided tours of the historic United First Parish Church and the crypt of the Adams Presidents Monday – Saturday 11 am – 4 pm, and Sundays Noon – 4 pm.

Operated by the Braintree Historical Society, the Bean Barn & Resource Center is part replica dairy barn and part state of the art. Enjoy the permanent exhibits, shop for local ephemera in the gift shop or dedicate some time to studying local and military history or investigate your family history in the extensive archive of genealogical records. Open for tours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Join the staff of the Thomas Crane Public Library and City of Quincy Recreation Department for free summer fun each Tuesday during the 50 Days of Freedom; June 18, 25 and July 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30. Storytime begins at 10:30 a.m.. Weather permitting. In case of inclement weather, story time will be held at the Thomas Crane Public Library Children's Room, 40 Washington Street, 617-376-1300 ext. 4.

The City of Quincy offers free guided walking tours, seasonally, starting inside Old City Hall. A walk through Quincy Center takes you on a voyage through time from the earliest colonial days, to the era of the Adams, Quincy and Hancock families, and to Quincy's decades of the national center of granite quarrying and building. Adams and Hancock Streets in Quincy Center are part of one of the oldest roads in America.
