The Discover Quincy Holiday Pop Up Shop will be open daily from Wednesday, December 6 through Sunday, December 17 from 11am - 7pm at 1534 Hancock Street, formerly Payless Shoe Source. The shop features the works of 60+ local artisans including Art, Jewelry, Crafts, Gifts, Ceramics, Glass, Fiber and Woodwork. Parking is available in the Hancock Lot and shop can easily be accessed by walkway adjacent to Kelly's Cellar or park in the Messina Lot at the intersection of Hannon Parkway and Hancock Street.

This illustrated lecture traces the development of the celebration of Christmas, from when it was outlawed in seventeenth-century New England through the beginning of the twentieth century, when all the trappings of a traditional Christmas were in place.
