Starting with the City’s Signature Flag Day Celebration on Saturday, June 10, Discover Quincy is partnerting with many local organizations to showcase Quincy’s arts and culture, community, educations, historic and recreational assets. Each day will feature at least one free event, while some events may accept donations and others may have an admission fee.

The Quincy Catholic Collaborative will hold its first multi-cultural, multi-dimensional, multi-generational event from Thursday, July 20 through Sunday, July 23. One of the organizers, John Distefano said, “There’s something for everyone, and it’s all conveniently located on the grounds of Sacred Heart parish, 386 Hancock Street, North Quincy." Free parking will be available at North Quincy High School and Atlantic Middle School. Free shuttle service will run on Friday July 21 from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Eight South Shore Yacht Clubs make up the Quincy Bay Race Week Association and the 80th Annual regatta offers the Inside Line Racing for junior sailors in the N-10, Optimist and Laser fleets and Outside Line Racing for adullt sailors for 210, Club 420, Hustler, Laser, Multihulls, Rhodes 19 and Thunderbird Classes on on July 22 and 23. Spectators can view races from various locations along the Quincy Shore Drive.
