The Annual South Shore Science Festival V offers a day of STEAM fun. Activities will engage kids in a student science showcase and innovative science workshops.

  • The STEAM workshops include many activities from fun science activities to robots, including biotechnology games, writing interactive stories, programming a robotic friend, science of sports and games, Lego activities, learn how your toys are made, nature studies, climate change, movies, talks, and more!
  • The showcase will demonstrate hands-on and innovative approaches to science by kids and for kids.
  • This year we invited again a Nobel Prize Laureate to join us… you need additional tickets for this one, after you sign up for this one, go to our website and click on the link Reserve for the Noble Laureate speaker!
  • We also will may have a group of Star Wars Troopers greeting children and ready to be part of your picture.

The festival will be held the from 10 am to 3 pm, so please select the ticket that fits best your schedule. However, if you come in the morning, you may stay all day if there is enough room, otherwise please consider giving some room to others after you have enjoyed the festival for two hours.

Please only reserve one ticket per person at the hour that is more convenient for you, giving the opportunity to others to attend.

To expedite your arrival on the day of the festival, please print the waiver form, review it, fill it out and sign it, then bring it on the day of the event. Alternatively, you can fill out the form on-site when you arrive, we will have an expedited line for pre-registered and pre-filled forms.

The waiver form is available at http://www.southshorescience.org/ then select Tickets, scroll to the bottom and on the picture on the left (right next to the tickets) is the green button to download the waver form.

South Shore Science Festival is a member of MIT's Cambridge Science Festival.

In addition to the general access for these FREE tickets, this year we will allso have new scheduled activities that will require a FREE reservation (since they have limited capacity). Follow us on Twitter and Facebook to be updated when those reservations will be available and check our website often.

If you wish donations will be accepted to defray the cost of the event.Simply select the donation ticket, or donate at the desk when you arrive.
