20th Annual Arts Fest
The signature event of the Quincy Art Association is one of the best family oriented art shows in and around Boston and the South Shore. The ArtsFest offers a juried and members’ show featuring over 500 pieces of artwork and photography presented by some of the most talented artists in the area. Our juried photography show boasts black & white, color, digitally altered, and digitally painted photographs. Our photography exhibit features many fine photographers, including members of the South Shore Camera Club. Artwork is available for purchase. The ArtsFest presents two days of entertainment. Crafters are welcome, just fill out our craft vendor application. Our Young Artist show is one of the most popular exhibits for young artists around the South Shore. The exhibit features work from children in grades K – 12. The ArtsFest is always held the 3rd weekend in September at Adams Field, Quincy. For 2017 the show is open to the public on Saturday, Sept. 16th from 10am- 5pm and Sunday, Sept. 17th, 10am - 4pm. On Saturday, the Quincy Symphony Orchestra will perform a free concert at 4:30 pm under the lights at Adams Field. Concert goers are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on the field with friends and family. The bleachers will also be accessible to all spectators. The concert will begin at 4:30pm, and all art will be able to be viewed before, during, and after the concert.
