In effort to help facilitate local non-profit's compliance with State and Federal Laws, Discover Quincy welcomes non-profit staff and volunteers to attend our banking and legal seminar. Amy Huber, Vice President of NorthEast Community Bank will advise on best banking practices based on your organization's structure. Non-profit Attorney Teresa Santalucia of Klein Hornig LLP will discuss how to establish and maintain non-profit, tax exempt and public charity status. Dinner will be served. "We partnered with over 50 local organizations in 2016, and after hearing their organizations needs, we have decided to host this free workshop. We welcome any Quincy area non-profit, whether one of our arts and cultural partners, neighborhood organizations, Parent Teacher organizations, or anyone interested in learning more about non-profit management." Says Margaret Laforest, Vice President of the Quincy Chamber of Commerce. Advance registration is required as we have a limited capacity; priority will be given to our partners and Quincy organizations. For more information, email Margaret or call 617-639-1117.
