Ferry Service Survey for Quincy and Boston Harbor
While Quincy has restored temporary ferry service from Marina Bay, we see permanent service as an opportunity to improve transportation for our residents and visitors. The City is partnering with Boston Harbor Now and our neighboring coastal communities to see how we can better utilize water transportation.
Boston Harbor Now is conducting a comprehensive study of water transportation in Boston Harbor. They need to hear from people who live and work all around the Harbor to study the potential for future ferries. The results of this survey will inform the future of transportation throughout the Harbor. By sharing your your travel preferences, you will help to shape the travel demand model being built for this project.
You can participate in the process by visiting bostonharborsurvey.com and entering the code “Sshore” on the front page. The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete.
As you fill out the survey, your answers to the first few questions will sort you into a category that will determine the questions in the remainder of the survey. You will then be asked specific questions about your most recent commuter ferry or island ferry trip or about your potential to take a commuter ferry or a ferry to the Boston Harbor Islands.
The water transportation study is being conducted on behalf of Federal and State agencies. The survey is being conducted by Steer Davies Gleave (SDG). The information you provide will be treated as strictly confidential.
