Blue Hills Adventure & Quarry Museum February & March Guided Tours
Blue Hills Adventure & Quarry Museum is a non-profit organization led by Dave Hodgdon that coordinates programming to showcase the Blue Hills and Quincy Quarries Reservations. Advance registration required, please contact 781-326-0079. Active volunteer committees are working on the preservation of historic, cultural, natural and recreational resources.
- Friday, February 27 - Sunday, March 1, Mount Washington, NH. Intermediate - Advanced Ski Mountaineering Trip, climbing skins required. Registration Deposit $25 due by February 18
- Saturday, March 14, 10am - 1pm. Intermediate -Advanced four mile Hike & Trail Work in the Blue Hills. Suggested Donation $12
- Saturday, March 21, 10am - 1pm. Novice three mile historic hike in the Quincy Quarries, sites included the Bunker Hill Quarry, First Commercial Railway in America, Granite Railway Incline and the Lyons Turning Mill. Suggested Donation $12
- Saturday, March 28, 10am - 1pm. Novice three mile historic hike in the Quincy Quarries, sites includes Indian Bowl. Suggested Donation $12
