Starting with the City’s Signature Flag Day Celebration on Saturday, June 10, Discover Quincy is partnerting with many local organizations to showcase Quincy’s arts and culture, community, educations, historic and recreational assets. Each day will feature at least one free event, while some events may accept donations and others may have an admission fee.

Wander the island and experience awe-inspiring site-specific installations by artists-in-residence made exclusively from found objects and native plant life. Download the Boston Harbor Islands phone app to listen to exclusive artist interviews discussing the pieces on display.

Join the Friends of the Blue Hills to enjoy the outdoors with your children during our bi-weekly Peek a Blue Hikes series. These hikes will occur every other Tuesday at 11:00 am, weather permitting. Bring your tots to Houghton’s Pond for a leisurely stroll to explore the outdoors. Participants will enjoy healthy snacks, juice and water and everyone is invited to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy after the hike concludes.

The Wolly Wednesday Concert scheduled for July 12 was postponed to TUESDAY, July 18th due to inclement weather. At 6:00 p.m. DEVRI Boston with Pauline Wells will perform all styles of Irish music, as well as classic and modern rock, country and folk. We will be across from Tony's Clam Shop.
