Starting with the City’s Signature Flag Day Celebration on Saturday, June 10, Discover Quincy is partnerting with many local organizations to showcase Quincy’s arts and culture, community, educations, historic and recreational assets. Each day will feature at least one free event, while some events may accept donations and others may have an admission fee.

Wander the island and experience awe-inspiring site-specific installations by artists-in-residence made exclusively from found objects and native plant life. Download the Boston Harbor Islands phone app to listen to exclusive artist interviews discussing the pieces on display.

Featuring a recently restored 600+ year old Indian Dug-out canoe found at Great Pond, kitchen exhibit, shoe shop, ladies fan collection and other exhibits including artifacts from our native folk, textiles, fire and police department memorabilia, glassware, nautical artifacts, memorabilia from the South Weymouth Naval Air Station, photos, and much, much more! Open every Monday from 7-9pm, excluding holidays. Group tours are available and are welcomed by appointment.

The Annual Seamans-Hussey Road Race is a 2.5 mile run/walk with nine divisions from under 8 to over 40. You must be an Association Member to be eligible for awards. Race course is from Shore Avenue to Norton Road and then the perimeter of Merrymount. The finish line is at the main beach.

This waterfront fireworks celebration can be seen from the Weymouth and Quincy shorelines and is popular with area boaters. The event will feature musical groups, moon walk structures for children and concession stands featuring a wide array of food choices. Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

JM Productions presents a series of summer entertainment departing from Quincy's Squantum Point Park at Marina Bay. 

Weymouth Fireworks Cruises on Monday, July 3. Board the vessel “Massachusetts” for a cruise around Quincy Bay with DJ music and passed hors d’oeuvres. Only $60-75 per person, limited space available.
