Home to the Weymouth Historical Society,the homestead houses a genealogical library with Weymouth records from the 1600’s, a shoe shop which is original to the homestead, a military room with memorabilia from the Revolutionary War through World War I, and a carriage house with antique sleighs, farming and ice harvesting tools. Open Wednesdays 9am - 1pm or by appointment.
Adams National Historical Park welcomes author, Louisa Thomas, whose groundbreaking biography is the first biography of 6th United States First Lady, Louisa Catherine Adams. Program is free and open to the public. The Discover Quincy Board of Directors has extended invites to its 3rd Annual Meeting on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Best Western Adams Inn, 29 Hancock Street. Complimentary admission for two guests per organization. Additional members welcome but $25 per person donation requested.
